The title of this painting is called Sunset. The artist who painted the painting was Fredric Edwin Church and he painted it in 1856 ad. The country of origin was the United states. I can recognize all of the objects in this painting. The lighting is darker in the back of the painting where the sun is and is darker in the front of it where the woods are.The painting shows a sunset on a lake surrounded by woods with the sun glistening off the water. This painting makes me feel relaxed because a sun set like that is at the end of the day and that is when I am trying to rest and relax.
